The association has prepared a plan to build a bakery in Syria, Malkia and wants to do so
to help and provide for people living in refugee camps, including their young children
absolutely essential staple food, bread.
There is no bakery in the vicinity of the Malkia area that could supply the refugee camp, and bread is imported from other locations, where there is a shortage of this food and the price is more expensive for retailers, by about 35% than it would be. direct provision of this food by the bakery itself.
The target group is mainly Syrian refugees, as they are tossing about themselves
poverty line and food such as bread is absolutely essential for their survival.
There are more than _ ten thousand refugees in the surrounding camps. It is therefore about A huge number of people need all the help, especially basic foods. However, the bakery will also serve other local social groups, including pro vulnerable groups such as children, women, the disabled. The cost of building the bakery is estimated at approximately Euro 260.000 thousand. The primary activity for the implementation of this project is the purchase of land with an area of ​​approximately 700 m2 in the village . Subsequently, the introduction of engineering networks on the land and the processing of project documentation. After the elaboration and approval of the project documentation by the relevant local self-government and state administration authorities, construction work will begin. The penultimate activity is the purchase of technologies and equipment, including their installation (see the attached audio-visual recording presenting a similar technology).

The last activity of the project is the recruitment of employees and their training.
The individual phases of the project will always be documented by the relevant documents after each of their implementation, as well as their photo documentation, and these will be placed on the association’s website, which is publicly accessible under the project name.
The implementation period of the entire project is approximately 1 year and the construction of the bakery should be completed by November 30, 2022.

  1. The coordinator of the whole project is Mr. Ali Sulaiman – the president of the association. He will be present in Syria at each start of the individual phases of the project, also with regard to his expertise and his practical experience with bread production.

  2. The co-coordinator of the project is the person who will supervise the entire implementation of the project, Mr. Dayan Jahfer Hamo Dina, who is on the one hand a member of the CIDAD humanitarian association, z.s. and on the one hand, he is the vice-president of the Barzani Charity Foundation and is an expert in the field of social sciences. Mr. Dayan has many years of experience in implementing similar projects with respect to his position at the Barzani Charity Foundation. He will also be the person who will deal with all local and state authorities and the governing bodies in the refugee camps on the project.

  3. The project team will include Director of Cidad Humanitarian Association in Syria, Mr.Ikram Eldin Shindo and 3 other volunteers living in Syria and these volunteers will provide other unplanned work that could arise during the construction of the bakery and will also organize the selection of employees in cooperation with the local government. Their task will also be to ensure the purchase of raw materials at the start of the bakery’s operation.


The association will try to involve the foundation in the whole project of a significant scope and experience in the field of providing humanitarian aid and emergency aid, especially with an international reach. This is the Barzani Charity Foundation. The idea is that this foundation would participate partly financially in securing the project and would also provide consulting, advisory, organizational work and, if necessary, is able to provide technical assistance.
Further negotiations on the implementation of the project will be conducted by the association with the international organization UNICEF and the American organization _. The association will inform about the possible cooperation of all the above-mentioned humanitarian organizations on its website.
